Pavlov's training began before conception, as both her parents are accomplished Therapy Dogs. From the time she was born, Pavlov was exposed to a wide variety of sensory experiences and training to prepare her for her chosen field. Her first few years were filled with obedience classes and socialization training. She received her Canadian Kennel Club Canine Good Neighbour certification on April 21, 2013. Pavlov graduated from Therapy Dog school later that spring. All her hard work and training culminated in passing the Ottawa Therapy Dog examination in November 2013.
In addition to working as Dr. Segal's co- therapist on Tuesdays, Pavlov often can be found working as the reception area greeter at BMI. Although certainly not required, belly rubs are always appreciated.
