Ricotta is a delicious and nutritious cheese. It can be added to pasta sauces, soups and salads, used as an alternative for cream cheese on bagels (will supply you more protein), and it tastes great on sandwiches. It’s a very mild cheese, so it’s easy to pair it with different flavour combinations- sweet or savoury. One of the best ways to enjoy this cheese is to have it on a piece of whole grain toast and top it with either some sliced fruit or vegetables.

Base: Whole wheat toast with approx. ¼ cup ricotta cheese
