Meghan has always been drawn to the field of health and wellness. Helping and recognizing the needs of others has always been a passion for Meghan which has continued to steer her through both her academic and professional career. She achieved her undergraduate degree from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario with a major in Health Studies and a minor in Sociology. During her academic studies, she gained an even bigger appreciation for all the social and physical determinants that affect health on a global scale and became increasingly interested in studying health from the perspective of Canada's marginalized populations.
She is currently working towards a certification in Wellness Coaching through the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science as she works with the BMI team to bring a newl health coaching position to BMI.
In her spare time, Meghan can usually be found exploring, experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, bingeing crime podcasts and sipping a hot cup of tea while cozying up with her little dog.
You can find Meghan at BMI's front desk always ready to help you with a smile.
